Did You Know... St. Patrick's

I didn't know that St. Patrick's Day had a Christian theme. Just like all known holidays it is celebrated in a quirkly way. Did you know it had a Christian theme? Well, I didn't and was surprised when I searched and read the meaning of it.

I didn't know other than "wear green or get pinch" and "if you find a four-leaf clover you will have good luck" back in my school days.
   
So, in a nutshell

1. Patrick is a real person and is not Irish but British
2. Patrick was a slave at the age of 16 and escaped six years later across the sea back to England
3. Patrick was converted to Christian
4. He used the three-leaved plant to explain the Holy Trinity
